Webelos Leaders: Outdoor Leader Skills Course

Webelos I and II leaders are REQUIRED to complete the Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) course. 

Carroll District is holding their training on March 31/April 1 and April 27-29. 

Four Rivers District is holding the same training over one weekend – May 18-20.  Keep an eye on the Four Rivers District site for more information: http://www.crwflags.com/4rd/index.html.

Harford District also has a one weekend course this Spring.

Best news – this is the same course required for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmaster, so it will count when you bridge to Boy Scouts.

Webelos Activity Badge – Aquanaut

The Swim Program is an annual opportunity for Boy Scouts and Webelos to work on swimming-related requirements.  The program consists of two divisions:

  •  Boy Scouts may earn the Swimming Merit Badge or Lifesaving Merit Badge and may pass the swimming advancement requirements for Second Class and First Class.
  • Webelos may complete the Aquanaut Activity Badge
  • Dates:
    • January 9, 2010 7:15 PM – 9:30 PM
    • January 23, 2010 7:15 PM – 9:30 PM
    • January 30, 2010 7:15 PM – 9:30 PM
    • February 13, 2010 7:15 PM – 9:30 PM
    • February 20, 2010 7:15 PM – 9:30 PM
    • February 27, 2010 7:15 PM – 9:30 PM
    • March 6, 2010 7:15 PM – 9:30 PM
