Adult CPR/AED Course
For Boy Scouts, Venture Crew Members, Scouters, and Adults
Why: One American dies of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) every two minutes, and SCA is almost always fatal. The patient’s chance of survival is dramatically improved when bystanders begin CPR immediately, and when an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is used quickly. This course will teach you the skills you need in order to perform CPR, use an AED, and relieve an airway obstruction in someone who is choking.
Who: Scouts (12+), Scouters, and Parents
What: ASHI Adult CPR/AED course (conforms to the American Heart Association (AHA) standards). Upon completion, you will receive a completion card that is valid for 2 years.

Sessions are limited to 20 participants each
Cost: $10 per person to cover the cost of the book, card, and disposable supplies.
