Adventure Base 100 is the ultimate Scouting experience.  This experiential 10,000-square-foot campus provides an exciting view of the Boy Scouts of America’s illustrious 100-year history and influential future.  Rolling into more than 40 different cities across the country in 2010, Adventure Base 100 features a ropes course, hands-on exhibits, a multi-sensory IMAX-like Go Scouting! Dome, and much, much more!

Adventure Base 100 will be visiting Baltimore on July 17 and 18 as a part of the Centennial Celebration!

This will be a fun and exciting interactive venue showcasing Scouting both past and present.

Just because school is out, doesn’t mean that our fun activities come to an end!

Join your Cub Scout friends (and bring a friend who might want to join our Cub Scout Pack) for some great summer activities!

These activities are not mandatory. Feel free to come to the events that interest your son – or take the summer off!

Boys who attend at least three Summertime Pack Activities earn the Summertime Pack Award in September.

PLEASE NOTE: To make sure we have enough supplies and materials for each event, pre-registration is required for all Summertime Pack Activities. Adult leaders are devoting a lot of time this summer to run these events.  Please respect the registration deadlines.  It is not fair to expect the volunteer leaders to scramble to accommodate last minute registrations.  Events which do not garner enough interest by the registration deadline may be cancelled.

The Frederick Keys are again sponsoring a Scout Night Ballgame and Sleepover on Saturday, June 26. Game time is 6:00 PM, and the gates open at 5:00 PM.

Highlights of the evening (and there are many):

o By registering early, we have a good chance of getting upgraded to reserved seating (1st 450 people)

o Post-game fireworks

o Kids run the bases after the game

o Watch the Disney/Pixar movie “Up” on the video board after the game

o 1st 1,000 Scouts receive a Scout Night patch

o Pre-game parade of Scouts (5:30 PM)

o You can attend the game by itself – you do not have to camp

o You can camp in the outfield with hundreds of other Scouts

o You can pre-purchase food – see the flyer for details

Ray Kessler (Raymond.Kessler@wellsfargo.com) has agreed to coordinate the Scout Night registration logistics, and Michael Mulcahy (mulcahys14all@comcast.net) has agreed to be our on site representative for those who intend to camp.

PLEASE READ: Pack 883 will register as a unit on Tuesday, June 1. In order to be registered with Pack 883 for the ball game, you must complete the attached registration form, attach a check made payable to Pack 883, and get this form to Ray Kessler by the end of the day on Monday, May 30. (You can certainly bring it to the Pack meeting on May 21!) If your registration form does not arrive to Ray by the end of the day on Monday, May 30, you must register directly with the Frederick Keys (see the attached flyer for more details). THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
