The 2010 National Scout Jamboree is a gathering of 43,000 Boys Scouts and leaders from across the United States and from around the world. Jamborees are held every 4 years (although the 2010 Jamboree was moved to make it fall on the 100th Anniversary of Scouting in America), and we are fortunate that (since 1981) the Jamborees have been held in Virginia.
To help our boys experience the thrill of seeing a Jamboree up close – and to celebrate BSA’s 100th Anniversary in style – Pack 883 is considering organizing a Jamboree day trip.
Please read the attached Jamboree Trip flier before our October 2009 Pack Meeting.
